LIO, 7th February, Cafe Oto

Between excellent musicians, I will bassoon-improvise!

The London Improvisers Orchestra
Café Oto
18-22 Ashwin St, Dalston, London, E8 3DL - map
7th February
Doors 8.00, music 8.30
£6/concessions £4

Fresh from their successful trip to Amsterdam's legendary Bimhuis, the London Improvisers Orchestra are bringing it all back home this Sunday, 7th Feb, at the splendid Cafe Oto in Dalston.

You never can tell exactly who will turn up to play, in what numbers and with what instrumentation, but there are always pleasant surprises as the LIO work their way through two sets of (mainly) conducted improvisation. So do turn up - doors 8.00, music 8.30 sharp, admission £6 (concessions £4) - and do enjoy the proceedings. Please do try and turn up on time - it has been harder to seat latecomers given the size of audience we have been getting, although the people left standing do seem to have enjoyed the concerts!

This is the first of ten monthly concerts in 2010 by LIO, always the first Sunday of the month, and the vast majority at Cafe Oto.

Vivre de "on verra" et d'eau fraîche.
